• Lives with his wife, Janna, in Plainfield, where they have been active community members for more than 38 years. Their son, Daniel, is now a teacher in Burlington.

• Has served on the boards of Vermont State Colleges, The Vermont Arts Council, Twin Valley Seniors, and the Peoples’ Health and Wellness Clinic
